Preparations of Retail Summit 2015 are finalized

The largest central European retail conference enters the final phase of preparations.

The 21st Year of Retail Summit, subtitled "Searching for new paths", will bring key themes such as "omni-channel retailing" or the challenges of the brick & mortar retail, in terms of the rapidly expanding e-commerce.

Retail Summit 2015 (prepared for February 3-4, 2015) focuses on the search for new paths. After a longer crisis the retail trade scene is taking a breath again and in some segments even starts to record the growth. Yet, it is obvious that the retail market is on a big cross and those who want to follow the right path towards a sustainable success must consider thoroughly how to go on further. Retail Summit 2015 should be helpful in this decision.

The opening part of the first day will focus on the overall context of the market and its prospects introducing speaches of Marta Nováková, President of the Czech Confederation of Commerce, Vladimir Dlouhy, President of the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic or Dita Charanzová, MEP and member of the European Committee for the internal market. Their contributions and the Top to Top discussion with managers of prior retail and distribution companies will focus not only on what is the status of the retail trade at the crossroads, but will also indicate the direction we should follow. The second program will bring series of inspiration for these new paths. In particular, the speakers will be presenting different types of innovations - from the product novelties up to new approaches aiming at the overall change of the market and relationships between its key players.

The third part of the Summit plenary session will showcase examples of successful solutions, particularly focused on how to use new technologies and marketing approaches to create new routes to customers and how to link distribution channels to comply customers wishes most effectively. The key words in this part will be "omni-channel retailing" and the future of the brick&mortar retail, in terms of the rapidly expanding e-commerce. Retail Summit 2015 will also deliver very intense discussions in 12 specialised sections. The highlight of the first day – the Gala Evening will be traditionally associated with MasterCard Retailer of the year 2014 prizes awarded to those players in our market, who are ahead on the road to success.

Detailed Retail Summit program will be published at the end of November. However, already now the web page www.retail21.cz/en offers the main program points, description of discussion workshops and on-line registration possibility. Reasonable prices for Very Early Birds are valid only until the end of November.
