This year, it was once again confirmed that the New Retail Summit became the largest meeting of retailers and their suppliers in Slovakia. At the beginning of September Summit welcomed four hundred people. The next year is scheduled for April 2022. The registration is just opening and the main topic is being published.
Retail closer to people. This is the theme of the next year's New Retail Summit, which will take place on 19 - 20 April 2022 in the DoubleTree Hotel in Bratislava. "We are experiencing a turning point full of uncertainty but also opportunities. The retail business survived the pandemic as an important part of the critical infrastructure, however the nature of the services provided to the customers got rather depersonalized in the past year. Let's get the retailers closer to the people and take better care of our customers", says Barbora Krásná, founder of Blue Events.
It is necessary for retail sector to take on the role of a communicator and promoter of the necessary changes in purchasing behavior that will take place in the coming years. That also means to cooperate closely not only with manufacturers but especially with regulators and ministries so that everything is heading for the benefit of consumers.
What does "retail closer to people" look like? You will learn specific examples and solutions at the New Retail Summit. Registration for participants is already open, the first fifty receive a special "Super Fast" discount price.
New Retail Summit 2022 is prepared by Blue Events in cooperation with SAMO (Slovak Association of Modern Trade), ZO SR (Slovak Trade Association) and SZZV (Slovak Association for Branded Products).
As a novelty, the organizers also offer the program on the eve of the summit on 19 April. The main program culminates on 20 April by a Gala Dinner with announcement of the winners of the Slovak Mastercard Retailer of the Year awards.
