The largest retail conference in CEE - Retail Summit publishes the topic of the upcoming 21st year that will take place in Clarion Congress Hotel in Prague on February 3 - 4, 2015.
It will concentrate on „Searching for New Paths“ in all aspects of retail business.
"We love finding new paths....." That was a clear explanation of the phenomenal success of Kofola given by its leader Jannis Samaras at this 20th year of the Retail Summit. His words inspired not only 1, 027 participants of the largest Central-European retail conference, but even its organizers. Therefore they decided to focus the next year of the Summit namely on the search for new paths to sustainable successful retail business on the Czech and Central European market.
The timeliness of this topic is undisputed even in the conditions of slowly recovering market. There is no doubt that, despite a certain growth in consumer demand we cannot expect return of the "fat" years from the period before the great economic crisis. The market is highly saturated and its players are constantly confronted with not only well established competition of retail chains, but also with a wide range on new challengers – starting from farm shops to still more sophisticated Internet retailers. The old recipes that celebrated success in the past, cease to function. The search for new paths, and the total daily innovation of all aspects of retail business are becoming a necessary condition for keeping pace with the market.
The Czech Confederation of Commerce and Tourism, University of Economics in Prague and Blue Events as organizers of the Retail Summit 2015 will encourage the search for new paths in a number of directions. They are preparing a program that will feature more than 100 speakers and panellists from home and abroad. The two-day traditional format of the Summit will take place in the days of February 3 and 4, 2015 at the Clarion Congress Hotel Prague.
Details of the program will be soon published on the website www.retail21.cz/en, where it is also possible to register to participation. The delegates, who make payment till November 30, 2014, take the advantage of the significantly favourable conditions for "Very Early Birds.
