Procurement Forum conference highlights new purchase needs

Current challenges related to purchase will be discussed at Procurement Forum on November 30 in Prague. The program will cover topics related to energy, the unreliability of the supply chain or companies' commitments to sustainability.

Procurement is currently facing challenges hard to compare with any experience in the past: How to buy when there is nothing to? How to purchase in a time of constantly changing price lists? How to buy when the supply chain is unreliable? How to buy more sustainably and fulfil the company´s commitments? 

Current edition of Procurement Forum conference, organized by Blue Events, will be about how to cope with these fundamental topics and contribute to the functioning and maintenance of the entire supply chain and the competitiveness of companies.

Cyril Klepek, founder of Cyrkl Zdrojová platforma, will talk about the procurement of secondary resources and the potential of green sourcing.

Innovation of purchasing of electricity directly from the producer as an alternative that offers stability in times of energy uncertainty will be presented by Jan Krčmář, Executive Director of Solar Association.

Hidden risks in supply chain will be revealed by Petr Krejčí, Presales Consultant z Dun & Bradstreet Czech Republic.

Lukáš Večeř, Chairman of the Board and Purchasing Director at Motorpal, will share his experience with the fundamental transformation of the relationship between departments of purchasing and sales within one company.

Milan Jeřábek, Supply Chain Director of the domestic leader in feed production VAFO Praha, will share his experience about establishing relationships with suppliers and building a new factory on the foreign market.
