Blue Events, which organizes professional conferences and summits in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, has united its brands under a new visual identity.
Simplification and unification of communication are the main motives of the new visual style of Blue Events. So far, this organizer of professional conferences and summits has used different styles both for the corporate identity and for brands of more than a dozen of own events. In past the Blue Events logo was used rather in the background and priority was given to the promotion of individual conferences.
Now, on the contrary, the corporate brand starts to be highlighted in the forefront as the unifying element for all Blue Events conferences. The aim of the rebranding was to create the strong recognizable brand elements, especially a new umbrella symbol for all conferences and a new colour scheme differentiating events for specific audiences. The presentation of the new identity took place on October 19, 2022 as part of the Brand Management conference. It happened literally live, when 500 participants could suddenly notice a change in the visual appearance of the event directly during its course.
The pandemic period has brought a number of challenges for Blue Events, including shifting the dates of some events or turning them into online broadcasts. "Last year and this year were very challenging for us, but they allowed us to stop for a moment and think about everything we are doing. The difficult times also brought us closer together as a team. We began to think about how to project the inner unity better and thus strengthen the perception of our company externally. The unified visual style for all events was a logical decision," says Barbora Krásná, founder of Blue Events.
The name "Blue Events" itself was created in 2007 following the activities of the predecessor - INCOMA advisory group, which has been organizing conferences since the beginning of the 90s. Back to 1995 is dated also the history of Retail Summit, an annual meeting of key players of the retail market that has become the largest event in the industry with an annual attendance exceeding a thousand people.
Blue Events entrusted the new visual identity to Studio Najbrt, which is the author of a number of major Czech brands. Aleš Najbrt, Jakub Spurný, Marek Pistora, and Michael Dolejš participated in it. "We were aware that such a significant change can be made only once and Studio Najbrt has a huge experience with this. They approached us with a great respect for our brand and proceeded carefully in the dialogue with all key people from our company," adds Jan Patera, Partner of Blue Events.
"We believe in the value of face-to-face meetings, what was quite challenging to achieve during covid. Now we are pleased that there is again a great interest in our conferences and we believe that under the new identity we can better address also new participants," adds Managing Partner Michaela Dvořáková.
For 30 years, Blue Events conferences have been helping to develop the Czech and CEE market and cultivate the business environment. These include the Retail Summit, the Slovak New Retail Summit, specialized events like Retail in Detail, marketing events Brand Management and Communication Summit, as well as events focused on effective management of companies such as CFO Congress, CIO Agenda, Procurement Forum, Human Capital, or events focused on current trends, eg. Primetime for Business Data.
