Ensuring your participation in the conference requires the processing of your identification data, contact information and, where applicable, basic information on your employer, business or the legal entity in which you hold a position (as statutory body or other), depending on whether you wish to participate outside your employment, business or position, or not. A person may only be registered as participant to the conference by a third party subject to due authorization of the third party. Such registration requires that the registered person be duly informed by the third party of the terms and conditions governing the processing of personal data, including the rights of the data subject and the means of exercising the rights – see more detailed parameters HERE.
By checking the box Commercial Terms and Conditions and Personal Data Processing Terms and Conditions and by completing the registration, you confirm that you are familiar with the parameters of personal data processing. If a participant is registered by a third party, by checking the box and completing the registration, the third party confirms, inter alia, compliance with the requirement stipulated in the previous paragraph.
CONTROLLER
The personal data controller is Blue Events, s.r.o. with its registered office located at Hlubočepská 38c, Praha 5, PSČ 152 00, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague under the Section C Entry No. 65675 (hereinafter the „Controller“).
YOUR RIGHTS
You have the following rights in respect of the personal data processing concerned:
ACCESS – The right to be informed whether or not your personal data are being processed. If your personal data are being processed, you have the right to obtain the information about the processing in prescribed extent and the right, under certain conditions, to obtain a copy of the processed personal data;
RECTIFICATION – The right to request rectification if the personal data processed are inaccurate, or the right to request completion if the data are incomplete;
ERASURE (right to be forgotten) - Right to request, under certain conditions stipulated by law (withdrawal of consent, termination of contract, unlawful processing), erasure of the personal data;
RESTRICTION OF PROCESSING– The right to request marking and, if applicable, restriction (suspension) of the processing pending verification of accuracy of the data, lawfulness of the processing, response to an objection or to ensure protection of your interests (exercise or protection or defence of rights and legitimate interests);

A DATA PROTECTION OFFICER is not designated at the Controller.
PURPOSE OF PROCESSING
The Controller processes personal data for the purpose of fulfilling the contract and due to the legitimate interest of the Controller - ensuring attendance at a conference or other event organized by the Controller for the applying person or, as the case may be, a person who is registered at the conference by his / her employer as part of the performance of his / her work tasks.
LEGAL GROUND FOR PROCESSING
The legal ground for the processing of personal data is:
if a natural person is registering herself/himself as a participant outside the employment relationship, at the stage of concluding and performing the contract (participation in a conference or other Controller’s event) - measures necessary before concluding the contract and performing the contract with the data subject (Article 6 (1) (b) of the GDPR)
if another person (a legal entity / company) registers a natural person in connection with the performance of his / her office or employment, in order to prove proper performance of the contract with the Client, the legitimate interest of the Controller (Article 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR).
SCOPE OF THE DATA being processed
The Controller processes the following data for the above purpose if the registered participant is:
a person in connection with his / her job: name and surname, academic title, e-mail address, telephone connections, addressing, job positions;
a person as entrepreneur (natural person doing business): name and surname, academic title, e-mail address, telephone connections, addressing, job positions;
a person as a statutory or other similar representative of a legal entity: name and surname, academic title, e-mail address, telephone connections, addressing, job positions;
PROVISION OF DATA IS MANDATORY
The provision of personal data is necessary to ensure participation in the conference or event of the Controller.
PERIOD for which the personal data are stored and processed
The Controller processes personal data: Contractual documents necessary for the fulfilment of the relationship during the period of performance of the contract and further in the shredding period of 10 years from the date of the contract performance.
RECIPIENTS to whom personal data may be provided
Personal data are provided to the following recipients (categories of recipients): THERE ARE NO RECIPIENTS.
PLACE where the personal data are being processed
The place of personal data processing shall be: Controller’s business premises, including Controller’s registered office.
THIRD COUNTRY
Personal data are NOT transferred outside the EU.
PROCESSOR
A personal data processor pursuant to Art. 4(8) of the GDPR or a third party authorized by the Controller to process personal data may be engaged in the processing of personal data. In such cases, the Controller will minimize the risk of unauthorized disclosure, destruction, processing or loss of the personal data.
AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING AND PROFILING
Automated decision-making means decisions that are made by automated means or based on the output of automated processes, without human intervention/volition.
Profiling means the use of personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a natural person, e.g. to predict that natural person's performance at work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, etc.
Automated decision-making WILL NOT be used in connection with personal data processing.
Profiling OCCURS in connection with the processing of personal data. Specifically, the profiling of preferences according to professional specialization and information on the thematic focus of conferences organized by the Controller, in which the concerned person attended in order to ensure the most suitable offer, will be used.
